There's an old saying that says April Showers bring May flowers. Well it can also be said, with the the changing of the month, also means the addition of a new Hmoodle Girl. The newest addition to the club is Joanie Xiong of Minnesota.

Joanie Xiong is twenty year old college student looking to make a career in the pharmaceutical field. When she's not studying, she's out enjoying her photography as a hobby and at work. She also made her up from a "Girl Next Door" to a "Hmoodle Girl"---impressive.

I was able to meet with Joanie recently to talk about her becoming a Hmoodle Girl.

RyanM:   I'm here with the newest Hmoodle Girl, Joanie Xiong. Joanie, let me be the first to congratulate you on being selected as a Hmoodle Girl!

Joanie:   Thank you very much! I'm pleased to be a Hmoodle Girl.

RyanM:   Before we get going, can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Joanie:   I'm twenty years and from Minnesota. I love to hangout, travel and also explore new things.

RyanM:   I was wondering if you are in school. If so, what are you planning to major in?

Joanie:   I'm attending Everest Institute and going for Pharmacy Tech soon.

RyanM:   Sounds like an interesting career. Are you also working and if so, what do you do?

Joanie:   Yes, I'm working at a studio called Bao's Portrait Studio. It's inside the new flee market soon to be open AKA Hmong Village!

RyanM:   Do you enjoy it?

Joanie:   Oh yeah! Who wouldn't? It's fun as I get too dress people up and put makeup on them!

RyanM:   You list one of your hobbies as singing. Is this something you're good at or is it just a playful hobby?

Joanie:   Singing, is just my hobby It's something I do for fun and love to do, but when I was little I used sing on stages. O don't know if i'm good or bad at it, but I think everybody has their own taste of music.

RyanM:   What other interests do you have?

Joanie:   One of my main interests are photography and art because they allow me to express a new side of life!

RyanM:   Summer is approaching fast. Do you have plans for it?

Joanie:   Yes, I do. I actually plan on visiting some states I have to travel to. So far I've been to North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky,Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina , & South Carolina.

RyanM:   Looks like you've crossed alot of states off your list. What types of goals have you set out for yourself in life?

Joanie:   Nothing yet, but to work and finish college is my main goal!

RyanM:   Do you think they are attainable?

Joanie:   Yes, I do because thats what everyone wants to achieve!

RyanM:   I want to congratulate you once again for being selected as a Hmoodle Girl. Any last words for our readers?

Joanie:   Like my swag when I sway it! Just kidding, but I do hope you enjoyed. Peace!
