The time has come once again for us to add another Hmoodle Girl to our vast Hmoodle Girl collection. Once again, we've selected another gorgeous and multi-talented young lady as we chosen Nancy Vang as our Hmodle Girl of the Month for June.
Just like the sun shines bright, so does the smile of Nancy Vang. Originally from California, she has migrated down south to become a Georgia peach to follow her path for love and to continue to pursue her dreams. She's very sweet, beautiful girl, who has a knack for crunching numbers. I wish I had an accountant that looked like her. I was fortunate enough to catch up with Nancy recently. As you will see, she's a very personable girl with alot of interesting things to say. This is the outcome of that interview. Ryan: I'm here with the newest Hmoodle Girl Nancy Vang. Nancy, let be the first to congratulate you in being selected as a Hmoodle Girl. Nancy: Thank you! I'm happy to have been selected and be alongside my beautiful fellow Hmong ladies! Ryan: Before we get going, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself. Nancy: I'm a Cali girl but I relocated to Atlanta 4 years ago. It's been a great move for me although I miss my family and only get to see them about twice a year. I'm a sucker for romantic movies and novels but still love to kick butt when I have to. I love leather and lace! What can I say... I'm a girly girl but with an edgy swag. Ryan: What was the reason for the move from California to Atlanta? Nancy: It's simple and yet complicated. I relocated for love. My boyfriend and I tried a long distance relationship for a year and decided our lives would be more productive living closer to each other. My life, my career and my relationship has only grown stronger and is continuing to rise to greater things. Ryan: I also know that you are an accountant. What school did you attend for that and how long have you been accounting? Nancy: I've been in the accounting field for seven years and I'm proud to say that I have a great job in the field without my degree. My work experience has lead me to this point in my life, however, school is essential. I just started attending school again to complete my degree. It's mostly online courses but I'm hoping to get some campus classes in within the next semester. Ryan: What made you choose the career? Nancy: What can I say; I'm a stereotypical Asian and am really good with numbers. I've always been surrounded by an accounting atmosphere and it's always been something I enjoy doing. I love the fact of always being right! Ryan: Typical woman, right? Anyways, so I know you are new to the modeling scene. How'd you get into that? Nancy: Well I know it's cliché but modeling has always been something that I've wanted to do. There's been so many people I've come across in my life that have told me I should model but I never took it and ran with it; until now. You can never go after something if you're heart's not in it and you're ready for the race. It's taken me this long to build myself up for the fight and I'm now ready for the blood, sweat and tears! Ryan: Has it been easier or more difficult then you expected? Nancy: The modeling industry is such a vast and competitive field that if you're on the outside looking in, it's a bit overwhelming. I've really had to plan and focus on what I want to do so that I don't lose myself. I'm trying to push the limits and do things differently instead of just doing the usual go-go dancing and import car promotions. I'm 5'6.5" so I want to push for runway and high fashion. Ryan: What misconceptions do you think people have about those who model? Nancy: That we starve ourselves! Ryan: You also mentioned in your bio that you are working on some films. What types of films are they? Nancy: My boyfriend started a Hmong film business so I've been helping him build his portfolio and so have done some small Hmong short films. We're hoping to release a full length film soon but be assured that I'll be back here promoting and making my shout outs for all the Hmoodle fans to go and watch it. Ryan: Will they released to the public? If so, when? Nancy: The short films are currently on YouTube so go check them at www.youtube.com/TojSiabEntertainment. Just be sure to come back and check out our next big projects. Ryan: Sounds like you are a busy girl. What do you on your off time? Nancy: On my off time I spend it with family. My family is my backbone and truly the greatest support in my life. It really sucks that we're miles apart but distance does make the heart grow fonder. Ryan: Well, I want to congratulate you once again on being selected as a Hmoodle Girl. Do you have any last words for our readers? Nancy: Be true to yourself and go after your dreams! Don't let others bring you down. The biggest fight is within you. I want to once again congratulate Nancy on being selected as a Hmoodle Girl. You can show her your support by checking out her short films at the Youtube link provided about. I myself look forward to seeing the final products that they put out.
